Please note that on Comcast Sportsnet, Friday will be Len and Bob's coverage, Saturday will be Hawk and Dj. Sunday night will be an ESPN game.

WGN will cover the Cubs side of the game on saturday

Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the first place Chicago Cubs and first place Chicago White Sox, is ready once again to jump start the annual “Crosstown Classic” rivalry in a big way with LIVE coverage of the first game of the series on Friday, June 20 as a “Cubs” telecast (1:20pm first pitch) and the second game on Saturday, June 21 as a “White Sox” telecast (12 noon first pitch) in crystal-clear HD. In addition, Comcast SportsNet will air extended pre and post-game shows for both games, expanded coverage on SportsNite throughout the entire weekend, along with some special programming that will definitely please fans of both teams.

FRIDAY, JUNE 20: Comcast SportsNet’s “Crosstown Classic” programming line-up begins on Friday, June 20 at 11:00 AM with an episode of the acclaimed minor league baseball mini-series Playing for Peanuts followed by Holy Cow: Remembering Harry, a CSN-produced half-hour special on the life of legendary Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray. Beginning at 12 NOON, viewers can look forward to Chevy Crosstown Preview, which will be immediately followed by Lexus Crosstown Pre-Game Live at 12:30 PM. These “expanded” pre-game specials will take place LIVE from Wrigley Field and will be hosted by Pat Boyle and analysts Dan Plesac and Bill Melton featuring live pre-game reports and player interviews. In addition, CSN Cubs announcers Len Kasper and Bob Brenly will be LIVE on the field during the 12 noon show, plus – field reports will be provided by SportsNite’s Chuck Garfien, Josh Mora and Kerry Sayers leading up to first pitch. Special feature pieces in the pre-game shows include the following:

First pitch begins at 1:20 PM in HD featuring the Cubs announcing tandem of Len Kasper and Bob Brenly (replay of the game will air at 7:00pm).

Immediately following the game, CSN will carry Lowe’s Crosstown Post Game Live featuring live post-game press conferences with Lou Piniella and Ozzie Guillen, live locker room interviews with both Cubs and White Sox players and thorough post-game analysis from Plesac and Melton.

SATURDAY, JUNE 21: For the second game of the series on Saturday, June 21, Comcast SportsNet’s coverage day begins at 11:00 AM with Chevy Crosstown Preview, which will be immediately followed by Feldco Crosstown Pre-Game Live at 11:30 AM. These “expanded” pre-game specials will once again take place LIVE from Wrigley Field and will be hosted by Pat Boyle, along with analysts Bill Melton & Dan Plesac and reporters Chuck Garfien, Josh Mora and Kerry Sayers with even more live pre-game reports and player interviews. Special feature pieces in the pre-game shows this day include the following:

SUNDAY, JUNE 22: Even though Comcast SportsNet will not carry the White Sox at Cubs finale on Sunday, June 22, the network will still provide viewers with thorough pre-game coverage on SportsNite presented by DEX at 6:30 PM, along with a detailed post-game recap and Cubs/Sox player interviews on Land Rover SportsNite at 10:00 PM and on SportsNite: In-Depth at 10:30 PM.

And on WGN radio tomorrow morning starting at 9am CT, they will be broadcasting live from right outside Wrigley Field. IT WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE so those of you who aren't in the area, check it out as you can get a glimpse of the insanity around Wrigley brought to you via the airwaves...or netwaves! :)

For those who are lucky enough to be able to be there, the WGN setup will be right by the McDonald's parking lot....across from Ernie Banks.

May I also suggest this would be a good series to record, whether it is on VHS, DVD, TiVo, however, but there is always the unpredictable happening during these series'!
