Re-animator ?

Is it time to try and bring this corpse back to life ? Does anybody care anymore ? It appears THE TROLL - do I need to elaborate and explain?, is actually gone. (Praise God !.) Let's get this once fine board alive and kicking again !

ANYONE OUT THERE ?

The only way I come back is if the schmo's from Cubs.com leave. Before they got wind of this site it was wonderful. I enjoyed coming here everyday. I just got tired of reading and arguing the same points I did on Cubs.com.

Or maybe if we see some life in the Ricketses and in Theo that will improve the ball club, we can get some conversations going.

ryno4ever checking in here! How are all of my long lost cubbie friends? Going to the Cubs Convention here in about 24 days (but who's counting?) Not that there's a whole lot to get excited about seeing or hearing the Ricketts' or Theo/Hoyer regime can explain again.

Welcome back Van.

I see real life in this organization and think an off-season is going to show us a very different type of team in terms of spirit. The thing I want to see most is fighting spirit and honest fundamentally good play. And real baseball team work - putting hits together and DP's etc. Obvious progress is a will be slow for a while but I think it's there. The mental make-up of the players is the most important change to be had. Let's see how they fight this year!

I think 2013 may give us the wins we desire but the baseball will be enjoyable. I lived through the Rays development period and it was worth the wait. I just do not want to see the same old "blowing of the game-defeating yourself" baseball that characterized former Cubs teams.

And let's watch several youngsters develop into superior players - that's fun - and you know the guys I mean.

And let's work to keep the board respectful and mature this time around - get Scuba involved again (where is he?).
