Looks like they are reloading again. If you're Pete Carroll, why in the world would you ever think about going back to the NFL? He's got one of the sweetest gigs in sports.

I was listening to the start of the Jim Rome show this morning, and he quoted John L. Smith, former Michigan State coach, saying about Illinois' signings, "Where there's smoke, there might be fire." Rome interpreted it as Smith calling out Zook for cheating.

There's no reason that IL can't put out a decent football team.. they're a major Big Ten school.. absolutely no reason to put out the teams they have. Plus, Juice is a stud.

Brute, I was glad to see ND's class was good but I was a little disappointed that Clausen was the only Blue Chipper coming to South Bend, I was hoping for a big time DB or something, we got a good one in Gary Gray but I was holding out for just a liiiiiitle more.

It works out on both ends - U of I gets the talent, and the players get a head-start on their draft eligibility.
