I got Photoshop elements 6 at walmart, for about $70. It is pricy, but I do a lot with photo editing, so, I think it is worth it....

The full version is a lot of money...$650 for the new version.
I am sure you can get licenses cheaper off amazon.

Wow that is a little pricey. But my wife loves taking phots and does a lot of scrapbooking so maybe it will be beneficial for me to pick up a "cheap" version anyway.

Never used it. I use the full version, i bet it is definitely limited but it will suite you just fine.

I've used the "full" version professionally when I worked for different newspapers, and I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 on my personal machine. Elements is good for home use, as you don't need to change photos into CMYK like you do for publications.
