MLB TV

I just broke down and purchased the MLB tv monthly package. They have a neat thing where they have MLB tv mosaic, where you can watch 6 teams at the same time! I've never done this, but with the WIN NOW attitude the Cubs have, it will be nice to actually watch the competition instead of just the highlights. It also will let me watch Cubs games (archived) with another broadcasters point of view, not that I don't like our broadcasters.

Does anyone else have this, and is it worth the $20 a month?

I will probably be getting the season MLB.TV package, since my cable co. is offering a rebate for the yearly subscription. This will most likely be taking the place of my Extra Innings package this year. I haven't looked into the mosaic. It sounds great!

Yeah, I've been using mlb.tv for a couple of years now (not much alternative) and its pretty good (although I do the yearly deal). Wasn't convinced enough about Mosiac to get the Premium package (I rarely watch non-Cubby games) but i kinda wish I'd spent the extra $30 for the 700k version instead of the 400k. Of course the blackout thing is never an issue for me, where i suppose it might be for you folks over there.

I'm loving it so far... I have watched some of the Astros game, some of the Brewers game, and even some Red Sox! What in the world have I been waiting for? I am downloading the Mosaic thing now! I can watch 6 games at one time! I'll never leave my computer now! (At least for the summer!)

I just downloaded the mosaic thing, but it goes really slow and choppy. I got the mlb.com tv premium package, and so far, no regrets. I watched the game on tv, now, as I am surfing the net, I am getting to listen to it with Pat and Ron on the audio archives!
