mlb.tv question

I used MLB.tv last year. I had my credit card automatically billed on a montly basis. As of right now, my MLB.tv still works, but will my subscription be automatically renewed at the beginning of the season, or do I need to renew it?

Q 4 U:

Is it worth it to have the high-grade version ($115) or just regular ($80)

I have a projector at my house I can hook my laptop upto, so I'm thinking the high resolution one could be better.

They say on the site that they have upgraded the video on it for the premium one. I had the premium package last year, and it was cool to use the mosaic, where you could watch 6 games at one time. I guess it depends on how you use it, if you use it to watch the Cubs, go with the higher package. The Cubs and Brewers are blacked out where I am, so I just used it for the archives and the other games around the NL and AL. I would watch Maddux pitch, and keep up with the Red Sox.

I would go with the higher version with your projector.

I dont have the TV package as I have to work when they are on most of the time. I do have the MLB Radio package for $15 for the season. But, where I live, I very rarely have to use it as I have an ESPN affiliate that carries them during the day and another station carries the night and weekend games! When I am on the way home from work, I put it on the radio, I love listening to Pat and Ron!

Heather,

I had my card automatically billed on a monthly basis too and it was my understanding that your subscription will be automatically renewed (as soon as the season starts) unless you cancel your mlb.tv account.

Thanks Mara! I figured that's how it was because I have had access to MLB.tv all winter for the archived games, etc.

bockstock: just to say about the premium service higher bitrate: i switched to premium half-way through last season and for every cubs game i watched (almost every) there was absolutely no difference between the 650k and the 1.2m feeds. indeed, i only noticed the 1.2 being significantly better for games in arizona and la (dodgers), for whatever reason. i would be wary about getting the 'better' version unless you want mosiac, which is pretty cool...
