Question Have You Been To The Baseball HOF During Induction

If so, please take some time and let those of us who have never been know what all goes into planing the trip. Maybe even some things you would have doen different if/when you go again. Please be as detailed as possible. I'm sure this thread will be used as a guide to many of us who hope to make the trip to see our childhood hero be inducted! (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Andre Dawson in 2010!) I've looked around the internet and such but I would like to hear from some folks who have been themselves!

A few examples of things I would like to know...

*Best places to stay in Cooperstown

*How far in advance can you start booking rooms in town?

*Good places to eat

*Best place to pick up items with the new HOF members on them

*Places to visit & things to do other than the obvious

Anything else you guys can think of to make the trip GREAT!

Thanks
Craig

*If anyone else has a specific question, PLEASE feel free to post it in this thread. The more questions we ask the more answers, details and "inside info" we can get! The thread could be of great use alot of us!

Cooperstown is a great place to visit! I loved it when I went there. It was years ago with my family.
