2 weeks ago I broke the ole Harry shirt out and had three people ask me if it was Drew Carrey. Granted I live in the south but have people already forgotten??

I saw Harry sing "Take me Out to the Ballgame" at Fulton County stadium when the Cubs were visiting the Braves. I can't remember what year it was but it was the only time he ever sang at an away game. I think it was late
80's.

That sucks that people thought it was Drew Carrey.

Well I don't think people remember Harry like Cub fans. He was the #1 fan of the team, whatever was on his mind he said and like we all said at home. I just wish there was another one like him.

HIGH POP FLY THAT WOULDN'T BE A HOMERUN IN A PHONEBOOTH..lol

I agree ChiCubs. People are going to be pretty quick to forget him unless you're a die hard fan of the Cubs. Even some people who have only been fans in the last few years might not even know who you are talking about if you bring up Harry. It's a shame. I'm just glad I remember him and got a chance to see him for as long as I did. Simply the best.

I just loved watching the game and hearing Harry get drunker and drunker with each inning. Ill never forget his gruff chuckle when he would see a little kid do something little kid like. He was what baseball is all about. I miss him, if it wasn't for him I probably wouldnt pay so much attention to baseball now.

12:00 pm Cubs @ Pittsburgh - Sept 24, 1984 Cubs clinched 1st Division Title
2:30 pm Philadelphia @ Cubs - Aug 1,1987 Andre Dawson hits three home runs
5:30 pm Special Chicago Tribune Live – LIVE from Harry Caray’s Restaurant

7:00 pm Holy Cow: Remembering Harry - 1/2 hour special
