I'm startin to feel it

I want baseball. As gut wrenching as the last 3 games we saw the Cubs play, it was a damn good season, and quite frankly, I just miss baseball. I want to go to, Wrigley and freeze my ass off in the bleachers. I want to sit and watch tv, and either jump in air for joy, or throw the remote through the screen. I'll take either one at this point. This is gonna be the longest winter ever. I already know it.

Amen, the NFL and NBA just don't fill the gap!!!

College basketball is the closest thing IMO... nothing beats summer baseball... PERIOD!

That's why I record all of the games... it is obviously not as good as the real deal, but just to have the baseball sounds going on in the background, it helps. I usually don't write any info except the date, opponent, and occasionally the pitching matchups on the DVD, that way, when I put the game in to watch it, it may be awhile before I actually know what is going to happen. Now games like Z's no no and the big comeback in May, I set those aside for the days I REALLY need some baseball ....and some good baseball

If we get the bats we need in the post season I am ready. We can't go into the season with 0 fer middle of the order like this past season if we expect to win a WS.

I love watching baseball, but I also enjoy hot stove talk & the off-season. Player movement,so-called expert baseball predictions & fantasy baseball preparations & drafts, keep me very interested in the game all year round. By the time January rolls around & the holidays are over, I start get really anxious for the middle of Februrary & the day pitchers & catchers report.
