ugh
already wasted chances

bases loaded, nobody out, top of the order. Sori strikes out, Fukudome sac fly, D-Lee strikes out. Hurts when Zambrano has more plate discipline then Soriano

and just now, Ludwick goes deep, 4-3 St Louis, fffffffffffeeeeck

Geesh! As soon as the Cubs tie the game, Z gives up a gopher ball to Barden.

I was sort of worried when Marmol walked the first guy then hit Pujols (which is what my brother said is better than letting him hit). But then when he started to go fastballs to Ludwick to strike him out swinging, and then gave Green a steady diet of sliders that actually got in the zone to eventually force the double play to win it. It seems the only guy I trust right now in the bullpen is Marmol. No one else seems to want to throw strikes in pressure situations. I say Lou and Hendry should send down a few of the guys in the pen, release the others, and bring up a bunch of guys from Iowa and Tennessee to be middle relief and set up for Marmol.
