If I were to try and get opening day tickets

How long would you say I'd have to camp out in front of Wrigley Field before tickets go on sale. I've already told my dad we have to take February 22nd off so we can get tickets, but how long would we need to wait to make sure we can get opening day tickets?

to be totally honest with you i have been able to get opening day tixs online for the past 2 years. i have just had like 5 people on computers trying to get it. it can be a crap shoot, but it has worked for me so far.

i might be wrong but they give you wrist bands and then they pick a number on the wrist band. they start with that number and then go with the next number. if i am wrong someone can correct me.

Oh well that makes things easier. I'm still taking that day off to make sure I get them and celebrate.

camping gets you nowhere.. to curb camping, cubs now have it set up in a lottery. you're just as good off waiting in your warm house online.

Yeah, just do it online. Last year was the first year I tried to get the max amount of tickets (42 I think it is). Once I reached that limit, it let me keep buying them, so I was like "hell yeah!". I got up to about 60 and thought I should stop in case they actually did enforce the limit. I waited for awhile and all the tickets went through my credit card, but then I started to get refunds for the ones after the limit. Just a word of caution to not go over. Plus, you can actually lose all your tickets if you do what I did, I think I just got lucky.
