Jake Fox
Jake Fox led all of AAA in every major offensive category and looked great in his at-bat today, do you think this guy will make an impact?
I do.

Not a big impact, because he doesn't have a position.

True... but for now he will most likely be our first option off of the bench, that can mean alot in tight ball games.

This is a guy that could be better served in the American League. It's too early to really even say that, tho...we haven't seen how he can play in the big leagues. We've seen so many times a guy can totally dominate in the minors but just can't find it in the big leagues (Felix Pie is one I can think of off the top of my head) Let's see how this guy does in the next few weeks and perhaps we have ourselves a good trading piece by the deadline.

Hell, if this guy can ACTUALLY perform at the level he did in the minors and continue that trend for a month in the bigs, I wouldn't even consider trading him. I would stick him right in the middle of the order.
Because chances are if we dealt him for a good solid veteran hitter... the 'solid veteran hitter' would suck for us and Jake Fox would become a franchise player for another team - I am serious here... I think Jake Fox will become a VERY good all-star quality major league player. He looks that good to me. I say keep this kid (lol, kid he is 26 and I am 28).

well, because he has spent time at third in the minors, he will likely be given every chance to prove himself at that position. Otherwise, we have two "big" bats off the bench

Scales looks to be called back up today because Freel is heading to the DL with a hamstring injury. Pinella joked that they needed to try to stop Scales' taxi at the airport and bring him back!

I say throw him at 3B and let him play until he proves he's not a 3B.

I think that's what's going to happen

I don't think he will be here much longer. It looks like to me we are trying to showcase some talent to move in a trade. I think we want to keep the prospects we got in the DeRosa " salary dump " they are really looking good.
