The game was lost because Soto is fat and out of shape and was too damn tired to get that pitch !!

I wonder , how many shake offs was similar pitches in the dirt that the pitchers didn't think he could corral ?
Bench his ass , start Hill and have Fox as back up.

It is looking more and more to me that Lou does not want to really manage this team. He wants a push button team , he makes out the line up and sits in the dugout. He does not want to make hard personnel decisions. He doesn't want to say to Soto , " sit your fat ass down until you get into the shape that got you here " .
Why the hell has he not set down Sori until his knee heals and put in Johnson ? Make Z act like a damn adult. Stop using the kid Marmol to fix the problems of all of his bad choices be it pitching or his dumb ass line up.

He used the excuse last year of lack of left handed bats , well he got them now make it work !! I said it earlier , last year too , I don't think he has the energy left to fully manage a ball team. BRING DOWN BOB !!

Never thought I would say this

I have been watching them and listening on the radio since the 1970's. This team isn't as bad as the Lance Johnson or Jose Nieves cubs teams but I like them about equally. We had holes to start the season and the holes have gotten bigger with injuries. I think the bigger issue is money has finally ruined all sports for me. I don't much feel like watching a bunch of $$$$$ passionless robots.

This team is in the tank. No sale, no action, no wins. They can't seem to make any personnel moves while the ownership is up in the air. Sell the team to Cuban and let's get on with it!

Marmol has been a disaster this year. He is #1 on my blame list last night.

Thank Lou decided to ship out all the pitchers who had terrible control like Micheal Wuertz, Rich HIll, and Vizcaino.

I can't believe I actually came back to this site but this will probably be the last quote you see from me in another year or so... LMFAO BENJAMIN!!! Are you serious when you say this?!?!?!? Yes let's give him a pass.... Let's pay him $30 million to play 70 games a year. BEST FREE AGENT SIGNING EVER! He's good (I mean healthy because he's straight terrible) for 2 weeks then hurt. GROW A PAIR HONESTLY.... Having said that I'll give you my final thoughts on this team up to this point.... PATHETIC!

any player who injures himself hustling to try to make a play gets a pass in my books. As far as his offense, after a slow start, he is cranking the ball and making plays. Look at his current numbers, instead of the overall numbers for the season. 0-20 starts take a while to rebound from.

And if you read it, I said THIS injury
