Because Aram is so quiet nobody really sees him for what he is. The other ball players know and respect him , I just wish fans would see more.

For all of the greif Hendry has been getting , I wonder how many passes does he get just for signing Lee and Rammy.

Did you know that Rammy credits Dusty for making him into the player he is today ?

one of the great what-ifs, how many games would this team be ahead in the central if Ramirez and Soto had been healthy.

Fuku-Theriot-Lee-Bradley-Aram-Soriano-Soto

Hopefully it will be a fun August and September, this team is starting to get very exciting to watch again.

If Ramirez doesn't get injured our offense doesn't go into recession for 2 months, the Cardinals don't trade for Lugo, Holliday, DeRosa, and we have a 10+ game lead in the division. That's his value.

Getting Rammy back is equal to the tards signing Holliday. We are damn close to the Tards as the teams are right now. We may have an edge if Wells is all what he seems to be.

Super Duper Good News!

Quote:
Revised projection
Outfielder Reed Johnson was put on the disabled list before the game because of a non-displaced fracture in his left foot. Though initial projections had Johnson missing a month after he fouled a ball off his foot Wednesday, Hendry said that projection was adjusted.

''I talked to the doctors today, and I don't think anybody thinks it's going to be 30 days now,'' Hendry said. ''Maybe 15, we're hoping for.''
Johnson stayed in the game for another 1 innings with the fracture. He was hitting .200 since coming off the disabled list July 6 -- a stint caused by lower-back spasms.

The Cubs recalled right-hander Jeff Stevens to take Johnson's spot Thursday.

im no bone expert, but healing a broken bone in 2 weeks seems rather odd. Im guessing it may not have been broken, jsut a sever bone bruise and they are playing it safe

I think too it depends on the TYPE of fracture... it was a "non-displaced fracture"... it may be one of those that they can put a wrap on it and send him out!
