i dont like the deal. Ceda can do what Gregg can do. So we basically gave up a younger Ceda who we wold control for 6 years cheaply for one year of Gregg who is more expensive.

Lets hope it works out

Gregg has MLB experience, and has a really good arm. Its a good trade. I don't like how Wood is no longer a Cub.

Awful trade! I'd rather have Ceda over Gregg any day. Now it's Gregg over Wood. Terrible move Big Jim! The Marlins just pulled off a heist! ... So today the Cubs essentially lost one of their top prospects(Ceda) and last years all star closer(Wood), all in the name of Kevin Gregg. Terrible!

Everything about this trade sucks

Don't look at his ERA or saves. Gregg's K/9 and BB/9 numbers are frightfully bad.

This trade gives me such a bad feeling. It's worse then the one the White Sox just made.
