Sixers waive Webber

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2727797

Maybe it's just me, but ever since this guy got in the NBA, it doesn't seem like he has lived up to his potential. His numbers are okay, but it just seems like he hasn't been that huge star people thought he would be. Gotta give it to the Sixers here. Seems like they are cleaning house trying to rebuild and make themselves a better team.

He used to be pretty decent, but they should have cut him last year. He has sucked the past 4 or so years.

You have to remember, this is the guy who called time out in the NCAA championship game against North Carolina when Michigan was out of TOs. Plus, he almost traveled before trying to call time out once in the backcourt.

LOL, I remember that!!! I dont think he is the brightest of guys in the brains dept.

I recently watched a Beyond the Glory episode about the Fab 5. None of those guys really lived up to the hype in the NBA.
