This game falls on z

He is suppose to be the ace. The guy that stops the bleeding. I have no clue what he was trying to do out there tonight. Encarnocion's 1st AB tonight he had him down 1-2 and just leaves a piece of meat high and down the heart of the plate.. He agve up a hit to Harang. He gave up 2 hits to Valentin with a base open and 2 outs that resulted in 2 runs. Theriot didnt fare much better.

This is what we get for not trading him when we had the chance. He has returned to his April/May form. Now I predict the Cubs will not be able to sign him due to a lack of an actual owner and they get nothing in return for him. Shoulda traded him when we had the chance. Go figure. It's the Cubbie way...

You know, I think your right. The guy is a horse, but a complete head case. You can tell he hates pitching to Kendall, just by the way he acts. He cant handle prosperity. The last 3 games he has pitched have all been as big as it gets and he has failed, not to mention his opening day fiascos. He can be as good as anyone, but he walks way too many people. I love the guy but sometimes just cant stand watching him pitch. The last game he decided to break his bat over his knee. Doesnt he realize everyone can break it down there by the handle. Tonight he throws his damn helmet down the line. I think he was aiming for Sheffield Avenue.

Zambrano did give up 6 runs but I think some of the fault lies on Lou for marching Z back out for the 7th. What happens if Z is pulled and never goes back out? We don't know but I believe we would have had a better chance of being in extras right now. It was obvious Z wasn't on his game, why in the hell do you let him lead off the inning just to turn around and strikeout on 3 straight pitches and then go back out and give up another run. Didn't make much sense to me.

Yes , Lou would be the second one to blame. No one knows what might have happened but when he did pinch hit for him Font drew a walk, which later lead to a run. Z went back out and gave up another run.

Z looked off tonight. I really hope we can go on a winning streak because it seems like no team wants the Division.

I was at the game,in the left field bleachers 2 rows back of Rammy's homer, and Z did not fool any hitters tonight, did he even strike anybody out.he wants the big cash, then he should of come out there and blow them away,it did not happen, hopefully he can do it next time.

What a horrid start to this series. Looks like we will loose this series just like the last few.

We face a lefty today and we all know what that means.

This team doesn't really deserve to play in the post season playing like this. But fortunately the stupid Brewers s*ck too. LOL

Actually, I think the Cardinals want it pretty bad. The way things are going they should have the division lead by next week.

I bet that is probably the closest thing to come to Sheffield Avenue from a Cub in quite some time.
