Angry Soriano is a selfish pig !!!!!!

I am sick of this jag swinging for the fences no matter the base situation !! The jerk is just trying to get his name on a record , lead off home runs . He needs to be moved and , if he pouts about it then set him down and not let him play !! I am serious .
He says he will move any place in the lineup but , if this was true he would be asking to be moved . His former teammates talk of how he pouts and acts like a jerk if he doesn't get his way .
Lou needs to fix this now ! It makes no sense to start every first inning with one out !! With Self Serving Soriano at lead off the Cubs will not make it past the first playoff game ,especially if it is with the Mets !!

Why is that? Now if he has been asked to move and has refused then, then you have a point. But it is not his responsibility to tell Lou where to put him. Lou's the manager, he can make the decision. That's what he gets paid to do.
When the cubs signed Soriano, they told him he was going to bat lead-off. I know that isn't a promise the cubs have to keep, but the way he is playing now is the way he has played for most of his career. I understand that some people have a problem w/ him batting lead-off. He definately doesn't take the approach of a typical lead-off hitter when he's at the plate. I just don't know that he swings the bat very well w/ runners on, which is why I have no problem w/ him batting lead-off. I just wish he could take the first pitch every once in awhile.

Then let them have him...I prefer The Riot at leadoff. I've heard Soriano is Lou's buddy, so don't expect any changes.

I dont like him leading off, but I definately do not think he is selfish either. He could have milked both of his injuries this year for a lot longer than he was out. He loves playing the game. As far as him leading off though- his ob% is something like .330 which is not very good for a leadoff hitter and he strikes out way too much. To pay him all of that money, he needs to be in the middle part of the order knocking in runs, especially since he is still hurt somewhat and wont be able to steal bases.

I would love Lee to be dropped to the 4 or five spot and put Rameriz in the 3 spot. The 3 hole is for your best hitter IMO. And IMO our best hitter is Rammy, when healthy. He does not strike out near as much as Lee.

I think we covered this in my"I don't understand thread.I don't think hes selfish.I think Lou is not doing what is best for the club and batting him 5th or 4th.Don't blame the dude for batting the way he always has.Thats his style.Thats always why he has a high strike out total. They knew that going in.Don't throw Fonzie under the bus for Lous mistakes.

I presume you meant DLee and I suggested this about a month ago (see the link) and got a beatdown for suggesting it. I don't really post on here anymore because I am not postive enough for some people. We'll see how much positivity there is around here when this team misses the playoffs by about 3 games.

he has'nt pouted w/ us except to come off d/l early. not typical lead off'r but then most of them can't do what he does.....as in another one out of the yard tonight (well into the houston skyline) it's all or nothing w/ him though
