Unbelievable first pitch
I know I havent been on here much lately so I may have missed it being talked about. Anyway, Im 95 percent sure that one of our very own fogpog members threw out the first pitch today. Im not going to mention who because they may just want to surprise everyone.
I was at work and after Messmer sang the anthem I started reading the paper. I then heard a last name that I have really never heard that much. I looked at the televison and Im pretty sure it was the person I thought it was.
Amazing

yep, Skip! That would have been me, my son and my dad! It was soooo incredibly surreal and amazing! I'm still on Cloud 9! I got to meet all of the Rickett's family, Ernie, Billy, Fergie, two of Ronnie's kids... oh, and Woody! It was a dream come true!

Thanks guys! It was incredible! Eric, here is the link to the youtube video I recorded... but it's not great as I had my phone up my sleeve with the lens sticking out. I didin't want to be standing on the mound with my camera at my face! LOL!
http://www.youtube.com/user/hmcalvey?feature=mhum I did record the one off WGN tv, I'll try to upload it but they may remove it because it is off the TV.

How the hell were you able to act so freaking COOL ? You even had enough to remind your son not to step on the line . It is so great to see real baseball fans throw out the first pitch. Your boy has a memory that will last forever !!!
You guys are so lucky and also so deserving !!
