You have constantly been the person here trying to coincide with every move this team makes and when someone expresses their opinion we hear, "back away from the ledge it's early" So I find it quite humerous that not only are you worried about the Cardinals 30 games into the season but it seemed you were the one ready to take the leap just the other day which in fact makes you the hypocrite. I also find it comical that you post a thread calling people out and asking where they are, when in fact Soriano has done absolutely nothing for 34 games and has one good game. Seems a bit premature to me and I know for a fact that you would have been on here trying to use your best slam at someone else had the tables been turned. Maybe when Soriano can produce on a consistent basis (believe it or not his contract is large enough he should be producing like that daily, not once every 40 games or so) you will have some ground to stand on.
Sheff, I am with you. I pop into to see what is being discussed every now and again but after this winter and early spring I am S*&# full of the BS bantar and every fan boy with an opinion personally attacking everyone that opposes that opinion. I will continue monitoring but my participation will continue to be slightly above that of what I post at cubs.com (0). It is a shame, I loved this sight for the past year and a half.

This little pa/game nugget is also why pitcher any higher than 8 is contentious.

Ahh, so you are a Soriano basher.

And i agree with you. i only pop on occasionally (usually for gamethreads these days), and its depressing having to read thru screeds of arguments about mundane details and semantics. Fogpog still has its moments, but there are definitely some threads that need to be avoided. Most everything outside of the bleachers is insanity free tho...

And where do you come up with that assumption? Actually I would be willing to put a years salary on the fact that I am far from a Soriano basher and maybe if you would look before you make these comments I was one of the people that believed Soriano should remain in the lead off spot because of his lack of production else where in the line up.

Please guys, lets remember WE ARE ALL CUB FANS HERE.... WE ALL HAVE DIFFERING OPINIONS, DIFFERENT IDEAS, DIFFERENT THOUGHTS OF WHO SHOULD PLAY, WHAT SHOULD BE DONE, BUT IN THE END OF THE DAY, WHEN IT IS ALL SAID AND DONE, WE ALL WANT TO SEE THAT "W" FLAG FLYING HIGH ABOVE THE SCOREBOARD AT THE END OF THE DAY! There is one common thread of everyone who posts on here, and that is our passion for this team. And passion is what makes fogpog such an awesome place to post.

We are all very edgy.... but this is exciting baseball. We waited a very VERY long winter to get to these days. We waited so patiently for there to be things to really talk with each other about the team. We're here... there's stuff to talk about, but please keep it respectful, whether you agree with each other or not.

Dundee and weeghaman (and everyone who is a registered member), please don't limit your postings because you don't like the negative posts!) The more people who post on here regularly, the more there will be to choose to discuss and it won't be so focused on the agumentative threads!

Everyone take a deep breath.... and let's get ready to cheer our first place Cubs to the division championship...and further. If we have to wait another 100 years, Cub fans may end up killing each other off! LOL!

I am going to respond to this real quick and then I am out. HeyHey, I have nothing against you personally but you pull these arbitrary BS arguments all the time. When did you register? If you are a rookie or a vet? Are you even from Chicago? As a matter of fact I was born in Springfield, was raised here in Colorado. I have followed the Cubs since I was 4. There is deep Cub fan traditions in my family. I live, breathe, and die with the team. The order of importance in my life goes Family-Cubs-career. There are many people from around the country on this board and I don't think their proximity to 1060 west addison has any baring on their loyalties.

I've never lived in Chicago or Illinois for that matter. Can I still be a Cubs fan?

Lock this crap.
