Griffey traded to White Sox

Ken Griffey Jr. has been traded to the White Sox, pending his approval.

Griffey will decide Thursday morning whether he will accept the trade, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. It is not known what the Reds would receive in return.
Griffey is hitting .246 with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs this season.

He hit his 600th career home run on June 9 and now sits sixth on the all-time list with 607 for his career.

they cant give me credit. Im not a reporter. I sent them the story I found before "they" broke the news.

They verified it and ran with it. Believe me if ya want, but I heard about it before they read it

here is when I first saw/heard about it

White Sox Acquire Ken Griffey Jr.
By Tim Dierkes [July 31 at 7:08am CST]
From out of nowhere, the White Sox have acquired Ken Griffey Jr. Ken Rosenthal says the deal awaits Junior's approval. The fit is unclear, as the Sox have Carlos Quentin and Jermaine Dye in the corners and Jim Thome at DH. Perhaps they'll try Griffey at first base?

dont take my moment from me in my mind, because I sent it to them before they mentioned anything, I broke the news (even though they probably knew about it before I sent it in)
