We definately have a little something extra going right now. How about our 7 and 8 hitters today- 3 rbi maybe 4- we will definately take it. Big day by Lee. Great job by the pen- 5 scoreless but a little shaky. I expect Koyie just caught his last inning for a while with the big team. We need another arm up. I wish they would hurry up with DLee's suspension so we can get that behind us. With Chris Young essentially missing nothing, Dlee may get his reduced to 3. Marquis got lucky today. There was a reason Larussa would leave him in on those 10 run outings. He constantly was in that situation. He had to save his pen. We were lucky that our pen did what they needed to do. Rammy looks healthy again too.

Lincecum tomorrow- he reminds me a lot of Oswalt. Brewers pulled one out today. The Rockies had a guy on second and no outs in the ninth but failed to score him. O well- great comeback

I think it's safe to say the Cubs are playing well right now. Aren't we the hottest team in the last month-in-a-half? I can taste the NL Central Lead.

My stomach started to knot up today when I heard on the radio that the Rockies had a lead...then when the Brewers came back, it was a huge disappointment. A few weeks ago, the guys on the Sunday Sports Central on WGN kept saying that there was no way that these guys will continue to play .600 ball...but I'll be damned! They are showing no signs of slowing down, if not, they are just getting better and better every day. Step aside, Mr. Fielder and team, we're on our way to the top, and you are in our way.

Hey, it was a dissapointment that the Rockies lost today, but they did give us one game. They are not going to make it easy. They hit to well.

The Cubs are finally playing how they should be. This team can rake. I'm not too concerned with Milwaukee losing right now. There's a few mnths lef and we're in striking distance. If the Cubies keep winning that's all that matters.

If they had played like this all year we'd probably have a 5-6 game lead considering the stretch that Milwaukee went through when they were horrible.
