Anyone! Anyone! Anyone...other than Koyie Hill!

Someone that can actually hit a ball... Someone who can play defense...

Anyone but Koyie Hill!

Koyie Hill is one of the worst players IN ALL OF BASEBALL!

Oh, and Wellington Castillo is a pretty solid catcher, too!

so................

Gorz for three minor leaguers, two of whom look decent, and Quade guarentees Cashner gets a shot at the rotation.

Cubs also keep Matt Szczur in the system, who would have been a first-round pick in this year's MLB draft according to Jim Callis.

Alternatively, the extension to Marmol is probably not a great idea.

The accusation of Michael Burgess(Gorz trade)...

Mike Quade publicly stating that Cashner will be getting a real shot at the rotation...

Matt Szczur, a big upside baseball talent, agreeing to a contract with the Cubs, thus picking baseball over football...

The Cubs agreeing to a 2 yr deal with Sean Marshall, buying out his remaining arbitration years with a VERY SMART contract: $1.6M - 2011, $3.1M - 2012.

Adds up to a very good week!

Anyone want to see the Cubs get involved in Michael Young trade talks? He'd be a decent fit at 2B.

Young's numbers away from Texas are pretty bad for what the Cubs would probably be paying him.
