Thats amazing Mickey. I applaud you for being so patient. I , myself, have been a fan since 82- cable TV. I live in TN so I find myself cheating on the Cubs a little this year by surfing the Braves Channel. Speaking of a team that drafts pretty well. Unfortunately, I really dont think its possible to draft for Wrigley field. The wind has such an effect and now supposedly blows more in than out. I do think its easier than it was in the past though. Before the new division alignment there some huge ball parks in the division with turf surfaces which meant you needed speed. That didnt go well with our bombers

i expect many of us fans are doing the same. i do . i will catch the giants as often as i can . If you are a fan of baseball you have to watch some good baseball to cleanse your palate of the crap you see the cubs do.

yea, same here, Rockies $4 upper bleacher tickets, win or lose.

They had a terrible May, but they've got some great young players.

I can't believe Brandon Beachy is an undrafted free agent. What a find for them. Their starting staff is going to get back to 1990 levels fairly soon.

yes. He actually has taken the place of another future player by the name of Mikey Minor. Minor pitched some last year and I think has one start this yr maybe two. He pitched against my high school team a few times. He is really good. Not as good as David Price is though. He fanned 17 against my team one night and then ran 25 poles after the game. he was a freshman then. Another great one from around here - the Cubs actually drafted a few yrs back- his name is Sonny Grey. He will be pitching for Vanderbilt in the regionals this weekend.

Barney is NOT an everyday player. In reality, Barney is a nice utility player, off the bench.
