I just saw that... Bye Cesar, you won't be missed!

Now if we can find someone to take Jones...

Wow. And they are bringing up Fox. I guess Lou loves to have a plethora of catchers.

You know what, I need to think. Fox has been playing a bunch of 1b this year, he's probably up while Lee is suspended.

LOL

Because the Cubs paid $2 Million to LA in the Maddux deal, and are paying for 2/3 of his remaining salary, the Cubs total bill for Iz-suckis one year of damage is +$7 Million or $2.5 Million more than his actual salary.

Hendry has Theriot and Fontenont to thank for covering up what would be otherwise would be a glaring blunder.

Fox can play all over the field from what I heard. He can play 3rd, 1st, catcher and the outfield. I'm surprised they didn't bring up Cedeno, he's on fire.

I'm glad they dealt him, cause there was just no room for him on the roster. And I was watching the pregame on TV and they said Jake Fox can play every position but pitcher, and brought 4 gloves with him, so you know he'll be able to play everyone if he needs to. And when I turned it on, they were talking to JJ, but all I heard was him saying, "I hope it won't last long" but I have no idea what he's talking about.

They were talking about how he struggled and how he had to sit out and how it's hard to adjust to sitting after being an everyday player his whole career. They basically related his situation to Cesar's. And that if Jones struggled again then he hopes he won't sit out or struggle as long as he did.
