A name to remember ... ?

I imagine a lot of you read Cubs Den but I wanted to be sure no one missed this interesting article. Derek Johnson - a name to remember - they modified the Cubs Manual for him, interesting.

" ...
So the Cubs took a bold step in hiring Vanderbilt pitching coach Derek Johnson, who has helped tutor David Price, Mike Minor, and recent 1st round pick Sonny Gray.
The hiring was immediately praised among Jason McLeod's peers. The Cubs like Johnson so much that they're even willing to tweak some of their Cubs Way manual, according to Baseball America, ... "

I like this. And yes, it does seem like a nice fit to the "puzzle". I like his philosophy of designing his coaching around the pitcher, rather than the pitcher having to change how he got to where he is to fit to the coaching philosophy. With the many young arms the Cubs are (and will continue) to get, I think this is important! Do you know if their "Cubs Way" manual is available to read online?

I doubt it. Prolly Cubs confidential so no other teams in MLB don't know what they are doing. I would really love to read it. Since every player in the Cubs organization has a copy of it.
