We won't see the DeRo love this weekend

he was placed on the DL with a wrist injury.... there is a Cub player who is very disappointed in this!

The long awaited Ted Lilly vs Mark DeRosa rematch is put on hold again...

''That sucks,'' said Lilly, the Cubs' All-Star pitcher. ''I knew he wanted some and I wanted some. It would have been fun.''
update: An MRI showed that he has a partially torn tendon sheath near his left wrist, and won't be re-evaluated until after the break, but they are saying he is definately going to be out longer than the minimum 15 days.... and as of now, surgery is not in the plan.

I do feel bad for him...
Baseball season's underway...
So you'd better get ready for a brand new day
Hey Chicago whattya say?
