I just saw the final pitch on ESPN. They had a huge reason to complain. Too close to take. Im happy though.

I think we got a gift from the umpire... but deservedly so because that ball did not hit Counsell!

On another note... Lou says there will be "adjustments to the lineup tomorrow" as far as Soriano is concerned.

Yea, but gritty Craig Counsel faked being hit by a pitch earlier (can't remember if they scored that inning or not).

Little guys just cant win with you can they. Teams need these types of players. Dont forget he is sporting 2 rings as well.

So basically all little scrappy guys are role players. I imagine Pedroia would have something to say about that while he is shining his MVP trophy.

Great point. You don't have to be the biggest or strongest guy in baseball to make the most impact. It should be a lesson to all the players in the minors that you can do it.
