They are showing an interview with Michael Barrett.... as much as I love Soto, there is a part of me that misses Barrett..... he wasn't a good catcher, but that guy had some offensive "pop"..... and his AJ "pop" was PRICELESS! I still get goosebumps when I see that clip! I was literally jumping up and down on my couch!

Crane Kenney is on the radio right now, talking about how the Tribune Company turned down the state's offer.....

They are really going to try to sell Wrigley and the Cubs together..... the books are with MLB and then within the next couple of weeks will go to the bidders.....

There will be other naming rights thing to come soon (like the CBOE seating).... but might be "sections" rather than the whole Wrigley naming.....

… was activated and returned to the line-up May 1 vs. Milwaukee
… May 2, smoked a two-run homer in the top of ninth to erase a 3-1 deficit … had all three of Chicago’s RBI May 2 and has 8 RBI in his last 19 games with an at-bat
… landed on the 15-day D.L. April 16 after he had strained his right calf in the top of the first when he caught Ken Griffey Jr.’s fly ball, April 15 vs. Cincinnati
… club is 13-7 when he is batting leadoff

2008 Season: Belted his 10th homer of the season Sunday vs. Arizona – last season, didn’t hit his 10th homer until his 92nd game
… nine of his 10 homers have come at home
… averaging one home run every 15.50 at-bats, the sixth-best mark in the N.L., while his 10 long balls are tied for fourth-most in the majors
… homered in four straight home games, April 5-16
… overall, has hit safely in 18 of his last 22 contests.

His eight April homers were a career high and tied the club record shared by Lee Walls (1958) and Sammy Sosa (2000, 2002).

Has 38 hits in his last 29 games … of his 50 hits this season, 21 have gone for extra bases (10 doubles, one triple and 10 home runs).

… has a .416 on-base percentage this season, 78 points above his career average.

Has gone 20 straight games without an error at third base after committing four errors in his first 15 games to start the season.

Since April 20, is 20-for-60 (.333) to raise his average from .234 to .282 … has six hits in his last six games, and six walks in his last eight games.

I was actually a little embarassed after the home plate scuffle..a "little"uncalled for! A.J. is a thorn for a lot of players...but he did'nt deserve what he got on that one.(don't get me wrong,@ the time i was like.....yeah!Take that w/ ya,but Barrett overreacted in the heat of the moment & should have have acted more the professional)..-Now I wonder what part of ya misses Barrett--stop ! I know the women diggin the hotties on the roster,PG rating here,i'll log off & wait 4 an answer! I should be ashamed of myself.
