Lou be gone

There is just something not right with how this team has played under Lou's management. The talent on his teams have been enough for alot of other teams to win World Series. Why does it always look like no one is having fun? No one goes up to bat with situational hitting in mind. Swing for the fence, is what it looks like. I'd love to see how this team would play under Ryno but I am worried about if he fails, he will end up being a Cub Hall of Famer managing another team.

Trammell should be given a shot before Sandberg

Irregardless, the only way Lou is gone is if he re-signs, or Hendry is fired. Otherwise it'll play out like Baker and he'll be allowed to stay out the season.

You all notice every time the Cubs come up against an above average manager that Lou gets pantsed ?

I said this to my wife in the first week of the Cub's season , I don't see Lou finishing the year.

My money says if we are 6 games behind the cards a week before the all star break , Lou quits " for medical reasons ".

Seriuosly Im not a Lou fan at all, never really have been. I was more a Baker guy. I know he has made some questionable decisions, but this NL has been crazy so far. No one has really played great baseball yet. I dont know how much Lou had to do with installing the bullpen this year which has obviously bckfired, but one thing he doesnt do is hit for the guys. There were plenty of chances yesterday and they failed. I cant put that one on Lou. When your 2 best hitters scuffle- batting 150-200- the team is going to struggle.

I hate to say it, but I firmly believe the Cubs win nothing as long as they play in Wrigley Field. It may not be Lou at all or the players but it seems like it never matters what talent we have here, it all fails to come together unlike other teams.

I'm guessing Adam LaRouche (LHB) hitting 2 HR off of Ted Lilly (LHP) just blew Lou's mind.

He's probably more blown away than when he found out he could put peanut butter on a hamburger.

You have a point Mike.

If you have $$$ you can put together a 75-85 win team rather easily. It doesn't take alot of baseball smarts to do that, and that's what puts 40,000 butts in the seats at Wrigley. It's a proven business formula, why screw with it.

LMAO !!!!

He will just dismiss it as the voodoo magic that those LHB's are capable of .
