What exactly does "the team plays better in front of him" mean? What kind of made-up, I know nothing about the game of baseball and I'm grasping for anything to support my opinion, BS is that? The pitching staff has consistently been good for Soto...he's done a very good job in that department....

You have to be the off-spring of a retard and a crack head, in order to think that Koyie Hill is a better catcher than Soto....
Bob Brenly must have been hitting on that crackpipe 50 minutes into the game bottom of the third inning. When at the end of conversation of him and Len talking about how Hill will be seeing much more playing time he said " when it comes to behind the plate Koyie is [far and away a far better defencive catcher than Soto ."
But then what the hell would a ex major league catcher world series winning manager know ? I am sure you must be right Banks and Brenly and I are idiots.

Later in the game they remarked on how Colvin is a good option for Soriano in the outfield and " it would be a good idea to play him while Soriano is slumping " .

Damn , last night was Lee Eila is right night.

I am able to disagree with most people on these boards and never get into name calling.

You want it , you got it.

I know the guy you are. You sit and read something written by some hack , working under a deadline , then jump on these boards and pass this off as your own thoughts. When someone challenges you , you toss out names and insults with the hopes of bulling them into submission. When you do this you just expose yourself and your lack of depth in baseball knowledge. Chances are , you could not describe a squeeze play if it was being enacted in front of you.

Get a TV . Learn the game . Grow your own opinions , then share your thoughts in an adult educated way , and you will find an enjoyable exchange of differing opinions here.

Well with everything that's been said, it's way too early to start judging player's seasons. Koyie is a better defensive catcher, but if Soto can return to his ROY form he's the better option. Hope I don't get called any names by an immature know-it-all for stating my opinion...

Hey Doba, if I ever gave up on the cubs, nothing could make me buy a hat for another team. If you can do that than you weren't much of a fan! I'm 55 and have lived in Phoenix since 96 where I had to watch those pathetic bandwagon jumping D-Backs fans win a World Series in 2001. I would give up watching baseball completely if I even thought about changing teams.
Hey Aramfan, Love you !!

yes but do you want him doing more damage?

also more importantly do you want him making decisions for the new team?
