This weekend

After reading this story in the Sun-Times, I am hoping to win 1 out of 3 this weekend. They sound more beat up mentally than physically. Sorry excuses for this past series. I have to basically disagree with everything that Lou and Lee say in this piece. Wuertz isn't hurt, so what's his excuse? Lee and Aram aren't hurt, so what is their excuse? The middle infield isn't hurt, so what's their excuse for not covering second? That wasn't on Edmonds. What's he going to do, throw it to nobody?

Like I said, their tone indicates the possiblity of a disappointment this weekend as well. BUT, they play the games for a reason, so we'll see. Go Cubbies!

Yeah I dont like this series much either. Particularly sunday's game with Marshall pitching. I have a feeling we're going to need lots of offense.
The sweep last weekend kind of took some of the tension out of the series.

It's a big series for the two teams. I don't believe we'll sweep them, but 2 of 3 would be a big statement.

I'm expedcting a plit series but can't say who will come away with the 2 wins. Marshall doesn't fill me with confidence on Sunday. We just need to do what we have been doing all season, solid pitching and clutch hitting, and its the White Sox so Ramirez will have 3-4 homers lol

I just can't wait for this weekend to be over so everyone can finally get back to playing teams in their own league and/or division.

I agree with that. These AL teams are really starting to get on my nerves, bring on Atlanta, St. Louis.
