This is Todd Walker and Scott Eyre signing for us last year in the players lot after a game in late April. (Walker was actually signing my Todd Walker jersey!) Also Matt Murton was awesome with the fans![/quote]
Yeah Murton is a really cool guy, he signed my scorecard after a game in June last year. I told him thanks for taking the time and he said he likes "meeting the fans". Hes not (not yet) a jerk, I cant see him being a jerk, hes just a truly good guy. I've found that some players are just not good with fans and some are (Like Murton).

I met Murton last September 19th in Philly. He signed for me and even took the time to talk for a few moments. Of course, there were only about seven other Cubs fans in the whole park at the time. I got to shake his hand, too. Very very nice guy. As a bonus he hit a home run that night. Cubs lost 4-1, though.

I've been going to games at Wrigley since 69, and it still gives me goosebumps when I walk into the ballpark. All the history and think of all the great players that stood right there at home plate for almost an entire century.

Wrigley is definately a special place... I, too, still get goosebumps when I pull up on the el and see the top of it...the lights... it's like there is something magical about it. I still have my breath taken away when I walk up the stairs of the concourse and see all of the green! The atmosphere outside of the park on gameday is so electric, I make sure we take about an hour before each game to just walk around the perimeter of the park before the game before we head inside. And, there is NOTHING like an unprompted standing O from the fans when a big moment is about to happen. I have already vowed to my son that if the Cubs make it to the playoffs, whether we have tickets or not, we will be at Wrigley celebrating with the best baseball fans in the world.
