Jason Marquis...
I know it's early but I'm starting to think that Marquis might turn out to be a pretty good pick up this off season. He is getting the ball down and getting ground outs. Maybe he finally realizes that he can't consistently blow away hitters with his fastball.

Let us hope so! The deeper our starting pitching the farther we will go.

I think him and Larry have been working hard. As long as Jason keeps his head up.

Wouldn't it be great if he won 15 games and we got to laugh in the faces of every Card fan that told us he was all washed up?

Every card fan, from what I have read and heard, has just bashed him. I hope he shuts them down this year.

It's sounds like Marquis has actually worked to improve his mechanics. Weren't people saying he didn't listen to his coaches...apparently they are wrong.

I wasn't a fan of signing Marquis, but he's showing he might just be worth it. If he resembles himself of a couple years ago this season, it will only add to our chances of a great season, which at this point are looking pretty good.

I love the fact that between Marquis and Z, we have the best hitting pitching staff in all of baseball!
