10 hits 10 walks 4runs

Pathetic- 20 baserunners - 4 runs. Another loss to a team 19 games under .500 . This team makes me sick. Pie goes into run for Floyd and stands on 1b - no steal attempt or anything. I am going to puke. Thank God its football season

We all feel the pain Skipper its pathetic the way this team is playing. You can't win games stranding 15 on the bases and swinging at 2-0 pitches with runners in scoring position. Jones and Lee both did it tonight.

This game should have never made it to extra innings. Why does this team consistently struggle against ****ty teams?

Maybe but do average teams beat themselves?

You know, if I were Lou Piniella right now, I'd be screaming up a storm, tearing that visitors clubhouse to bits, calling the hitters every bleaping name in the bleaping book. Then I'll say that I'll fine any bleaping batter 1,000 bleaping dollars that bleaping swings and bleaping misses any bleaping pitch that is no where close to the bleaping strike zone with bleaping runners in bleaping scoring position, and double that to 2,000 bleaping dollars for doing that with 2 and bleaping 0!

We have to be the most boring team to watch there is. The Pirates absolutely suck w/o Bay and Nady in their lineup but they are flat gaming it up right now. Their middle IF makes me want to watch them play. They flat get after it.

Texas- I know its a different league but they are about 5 -6 games under .500 now. They have been missing most of their lineup all year and have absolutely no pitching. They manage to score runs with names like Vasquez, Wilkerson, Botts, Laird, Hairston, and Marlon Byrd.

How they managed to beat themselves tonight......

1. Kendall gets and RBI and must feel bad about it so he then thinks its only right that him and Marquis decide to let a wild pitch get past and then a past ball so they can tie the game.

2. D. Lee swings at a 2-0 pitch to end an inning with a man on second

3. Soriano strikes out with runner in scoring position

4. Lou pinch hits Font who has never had an at bat against the pitcher on the mound and has not had any regular at bats recently while he leaves Murton and Soto sitting on the bench picking their noses.

5. And then somehow through all that mess they manage to strand 15 runners!!

What a joke of a game. The only thing possitive out of this game was the domination of Marmol and Howry. This team has me so pissed right now. Lou made the comments that September seperates the men from the boys. Well I see where this club fits in there now.
