David Wells anyone? Anyone?

Do we want him? He may be available very soon. I'm not a big fan of him but I would rather see him out there than Marquis. Or maybe he could come out of the bullpen???

I briefly suggested he be looked into a couple of weeks ago; I don't think he is too popular around here. I think his maturity amd experience could really help, especially the younger pitchers. In the name of God he would have to be better than the Ohman/Eyre monster as a relief pitcher. Guts, arrogance and brains alone would make a big difference!

And, yes - Marquis is historically a terrible 2nd half pitcher. I would much prefer someone like Wells.

I was never a big fan of him. He's not really good at keeping his mouth shut.
