Just in case you aren't aware, he just gave a two run homerun to Weeks to let the Brewers tie the game in the top of the ninth in Houston. I hate the Astros now more than I ever have before.

Settle down Roenick! The Astros just pulled it out in the 10th. The Cubs have sole possession of 1st once again!

Ah - the Astros ! My 2nd favorite team. Good for them, 5 -4, 10 innings.

Lidge is not a pure head case. Anyone like how Houston wanted to hand the series to the Brewers by starting 3 rookies? I know Oswalt had a baby and everything but Woody Williams couldn't start. IMO, this should be looked into by MLB, but Selig would just give the Brewers the edge as usual. I really, really, really think that was fixed, given Cecil Cooper was a Brewer, knows Yost and is Seligs "Favorite" guy for the Huston job.

I thought it was a little wierd how Cooper started the 3 rookies, but after tonight I have no gripes. He managed his ass off. He brought in key pinch hitters- Loretta, stoled bases- Berkman, Lee, brought in his best out of the pen. Nothing fishy tonight.

I had the Cubs gameday on my computer at work, and at the conclusion of a big victory for them, I switched over to Brewers gameday. When Lidge gave up that homerun to Weeks, I was shouting words that I cannot repeat on this website. All's well that ends well with the base hit by Pense. Now it's time to hop on the Braves bandwagon for a four game ride.

cooper called hendry to ok it with him first... it wasnt to give the brewers the edge... he called selig as well... but if it was agisnt the cubs im sure selig would have said hell no...

abers had been playign for a while ....paulino gave up 5 runs im sure woody williams would have even lost that game as houstons offense sux...and gutierrez actually pitched pretty well oswalt was gone due to family issues... i'm sure cooper wasn't trying to lay over dead for the brewers he does have a job to do...

and brad lidge has always been a steemy pile since he gamve up that homer to pujols in the NLDS
